A NOTE FROM
THE FOUNDER
I spent years as a lawyer in Luxembourg's fund industry, in rooms full of brilliant people, building a life that looked complete.
And yet I kept looking for a place that did not exist: where a conversation can move from ambition to what actually makes a life good, where beauty is not a detail, and where a city starts to feel personal.
Places like that are rare, and places like that built by women, for the way women meet, talk and open doors for one another, are rarer still.
I never found mine.
So I built it.
The Modern Reference is exactly what its name promises: a reference, for the way we live, and for the women we choose to live it with.

THE GATHERINGS
The Circle meets in intimate settings, by intention. Some conversations only happen in small company, and everything here is built around them. What begins at the table carries on in the Circle's online space.
Once a month, the Circle takes over a place we love. A guest sits down with us, a theme opens the evening, and the women around the table do the rest. This is where members meet, and where the Circle becomes real. Reserved for members.
A day given to one theme, between wellbeing, art and modern life. Each edition finds its own shape, and its own place.
And this is only the beginning. The Circle's calendar will grow with it, in time.

Between gatherings, the Circle continues in a private online space of its own: daily conversations among members, live encounters with guests to join or watch again, a calendar where your seat is already waiting, and an editorial letter written for members alone.

The Circle is built for women drawn to modern balance, who live wellness rather than perform it: meeting and talking, in person and online, supporting one another, building friendships that last and a network that counts. If that speaks to you, you will feel at home here.

Membership is application based. Every application is read personally, and if our worlds align, you will receive an invitation to talk with Lise, the founder.

Because a Circle is only ever as good as the trust inside it, and joining one should mean something. The application is less a selection than an introduction: it is where we meet.

Membership is 35 € per month or 350 € per year, and it includes two tmr Evenings each year. Beyond your included Evenings, gatherings are ticketed on their own, priced per event.

The gatherings are ticketed on their own. Part of the Circle's online life comes with membership, live conversations with our guests and a few special moments among them. Some events are deliberately small, and places are allocated in order of registration, with priority given to members who missed the previous one.

Some Special Editions are open to non members, and they are a lovely way to discover the Circle. tmr Evenings are part of membership.
